The name plate of an induction motor provides the following information:
- Horsepower (Mechanical output)
- Line voltage (Given voltage must not exceed or less than the rated line voltage)
- Line current (Given current must not exceed or less than the rated line current)
- Speed (rated full load speed not the synchronous speed)
- Frequency (Given frequency must not exceed or less than the rated frequency)
- Temperature rise (Temperature rise does not exceed that specified)
